Store Policy

 

Risk Free Apparel Exchange Policy:

 

Customer satisfaction is #1 at SpeedWerks.com, so if an apparel item does not fit properly, we will gladly exchange the wrong size for the right size. Simply call or e-mail SpeedWerks.com, explain the situation and we'll make arrangements for the return of the item that doesn't fit and assign you an RMA number. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the shipping of the returned item back to SpeedWerks.com. Upon arrival of the old item, SpeedWerks.com will promptly ship your new item back to you for free. Please note, exchange items must be in their original, new, unused, unworn condition and must include all original undamaged packaging and instructions as well as all tags, Failure to follow this instruction may result in additional charges and/or refusal of your return. Additionally, our risk free apparel exchange does not include closeout items, helmets, or exchanges on the following brands: Arlen Ness, Fieldsheer, Kushitani, RS Taichi, or Spidi. Risk free apparel exchange is only available in the 48 Continental United States.

 

Exchanges:

 

We are happy to exchange your purchase if you have ordered an incorrect product, but please do not damage the packaging or remove the tags and/or protective coverings from your merchandise until you've determined that it's the right size. Failure to follow this instruction may result in additional charges and/or refusal of your return.

All exchanges must receive approval within 10 days from receipt of goods. We will not accept any exchanges without an RMA number -- packages sent to us without a valid RMA number will be refused!!

Helmets - $20 Exchange Fee

Windscreens - $15 Exchange Fee

Exhausts - $30 Exchange Fee

Framesliders - $10 Exchange Fee

Tires - $25 Exchange Fee

(Unopened full systems/Slip-ons ONLY)

Any items not falling into the above categories will be charged a general $15 fee. All merchandise exchanged must be in its original, new, unused, unworn condition and must include all original undamaged packaging and instructions as well as all tags, protective covers, and other items that may have been attached to the merchandise.   Not doing this may result in your return being refused. Please insure all packages returned, as we're not responsible for goods received damaged. These damaged goods become the property of the buyer if not shipped adequately and you may be charged to send them back.

If you should decide to exchange for an item of lesser value and the difference in price between the new item and the exchanged item is greater than $50 then the entire difference will be applied as in store credit.

Returns:

 

SpeedWerks.com will not accept returned goods without prior approval in the form of an RMA number. Packages sent to us without a valid RMA number will be refused!! Requests must be made within 10 days from receipt of goods. Refused orders and/or returns made without exchanges shall be subject to a 20% restocking/handling charge. Merchandise must be returned pre-paid as SpeedWerks.com will not accept any returns sent COD. Sorry, we cannot refund shipping charges for any return or exchanges.

All returned merchandise must be in its original, new, unused, unworn condition, and include its original undamaged packaging, attached tags, instructions, etc. Following these guidelines will prevent any unnecessary charges. Any Special Order, electrical and fiberglass parts are not returnable. Please be sure you want them before ordering!!

All returns or exchanges must be received within 10 business days from the date the RMA is issued! Any returned items that do not follow the most general guidelines will be returned and no credits will be issued.

Order Cancellations or Changes:

 

Please be sure you want something before you order it! In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your order with us or change an item after your order has been placed, please be aware that in some situations an item has to be ordered from our distributors. Once your item has processed and shipped to us from the manufacturer or distributor, there is no stopping it!! Cancellation of an item or order at this point will be subject to the above return policy. Post-order size changes will be subject to the appropriate exchange fee. Backorders are handled on a half down, half on completion basis. If you agree to a backorder, we will charge half of the item as a non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be retained as in store credit in the event of a backorder cancellation.

 

Defective Merchandise:

 

All defective merchandise is warranted by the manufacturer, not by SpeedWerks.com. Returns are subject to approval by the manufacturer. Shipping charges on defective merchandise are not refundable!!

We are not responsible for any typographical errors, omissions, inclusions or other errors on our web pages. We take all of our information directly from the manufacturers and will not be liable for any of their errors!!
